Polito Qualifies for Regionals

HCET competed in a double show weekend hosted by University of Maryland and American University.

On November 10th, Taylor Polito won second place in the Intermediate Over Fences class on Summer and pointed out of the Intermediate Flat division after winning third place in her Intermediate Flat class on Sophie.

Susannah Noppenberger won first place on Simon in her first Intermediate Flat class and finished in fifth place in her first Intermediate Over Fences class on Summer.

Victoria Arnold rode in the Walk Trot Canter division and won fourth place on Twinkles.

Hannah Pause made her Walk, Trot, Canter debut on Cleo.

On November 11th, the Hood College Equestrian Team wrapped up their fall season.

Taylor Polito rode in the Open Flat division and brought home sixth place on JJ, then finished in fourth place in her Intermediate Over Fences class on Leia.

Susannah Noppenberger won third place in her Intermediate Flat class and brought home sixth place in her Intermediate Over Fences class on Lionel.

Victoria Arnold drew Hood College’s Flower in her Walk Trot Canter class and won second place.

Hannah Pause rode Dori in Walk Trot Canter and won fourth place.

Three HCET riders have qualified to attend IHSA regionals in the spring. Taylor Polito, Susannah Noppenberger, and Hannah Pause are set to attend the Regional show in March. Hannah Pause is Hood’s high point rider going into the Spring season and Susannah Noppenberger is set to ride in ANRC National Championships in April.
